A Mughal Tilari Pearl, Emerald & Ruby adjustable-length Necklace set with freshwater pearls, carved emeralds, rubies and 18K yellow gold roundels. The pearls are graduated, ranging from 9.9 to 9.00 mm with 7 carved emeralds, 4 cabochon rubies and 6.5 mm freshwater pearls separated between each gem by 18K yellow gold roundels.
The necklace is strung and hand-knotted on white thread using the traditional and delicate Mughal art pearl and bead knotting technique, a sophisticated craft where meticulous practices balance security, fluid drape and the innate beauty of stones.
The necklace length is graduated: the shortest string 9" (23.8 cm), middle 11" (28 cm), and longest 12" (30.5 cm).
