Akoya pearls are globally famous for their mirror-like, crisp luster. Because they are grown in colder coastal waters, especially during winter harvests in Japan, the oyster secretes fine, tightly packed layers of nacre slowly. This dense crystalline structure creates a sharp, bright reflection where light bounces off the surface vividly, rather than appearing soft or chalky.

The necklace is strung and hand-knotted on white thread using the traditional and delicate Mughal art of pearl and bead knotting technique, a sophisticated craft where meticulous practices balance security, fluid drape and the innate beauty of the stones. 

The necklace length is 21" (53.3 cm) in its shortest version & 42" (106.7 cm) when fully extended.
